FEGOCTA extends best wishes

Federation of Government College Teachers’ Associations, Manipur (FEGOCTA) extended best wishes to the students appearing in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com semester Examinations starting from June 20.
FEGOCTA in a press release appealed to all the principals and teachers to ensure examinations are conducted in a fair manner.
The students have been requested to follow the rules of the examinations.
Further FEGOCTA appealed to the authorities concerned of the State Government, universities and colleges including the principals and admission committees to ensure timely and effective admissions in the academic session 2022-2023.
The teachers' body also maintained that the intake capacity may be decided according to the available infrastructure including classrooms and number of the teachers in each college which will help in the effective teaching–learning and enforcing 75 percent attendance of the students to appear in the examinations and proper evaluation including the internal assessments in the colleges.
All the stakeholders have also been requested to support such activities of the colleges in the examinations and admission process. Effective teaching, learning and evaluation which has 350 points out of 1000 points in NAAC assessment is key to quality collegiate education, added the release
FEGOCTA also appealed to the Government to fill up the vacant teaching posts in the government colleges on regular basis as per UGC Regulations and through Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC).
