Meritorious students feted

IMPHAL, Jun 16: Self Economic Planning for Adult women (SEPAW) Sagolband Bijoy Govinda Lairenjam Leirak Keli Makhong organised a felicitation function for meritorious students today.
Rajkumari Nevita Devi of Xtra Edge school who secured 11th position in Science stream in the recently declared result of Class 12 Exam conducted by COHSEM and subject topper in Anthropology, Laishram Vanshika Devi of TG Higher Secondary School were feted during the function held at SP Embroidery Centre, Sagolband.
The students were honoured with Kajenglei, bouquet, citation and cash awards.
Expressing gratitude for felicitating them, Rajkumari Nevita Devi and Laishram Vanshika Devi narrated about their dedication and hardwork which led to their success and also spoke about their future plans.
Speaking at the occasion, secretary of SEPAW, RK Ongbi Purnima said that the felicitation programme has been organised to motivate the upcoming students to strive for better and make the State proud.
She also expressed joy that the students of the locality have brought laurels by securing high position and emerging as subject toppers in the recently declared Class 12 Exam.
She also assured to extend best possible help to such students in their future endeavours.
 The programme was also attended by president of SEPAW, H Ashalata and advisor RK Ongbi Sorojini as presidium members.
