Essay writing competition organised

An essay writing competition on the topic 'COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on study' was held today at Ibotombi Institute of Education, Kha Naorem Leikai, Canchipur.
Students representing different schools participated in the essay writing competition which was held as a part of the global effort to save the environment, said a press release by the principal of the institute. Naorem Priyalakshmi, a Class VIII student of Keishamthong High School, Samjetsabam Victoria Chanu, Class VII student of Regular English High School and RK Husia Devi, Class VIII student of Nirmalabas High School secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the competition. The winners and participants were honoured with cash prizes, certificates and mementos, added the press release.
