Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports interacts with beneficiaries of various schemes

As a part of the 75 years of Indian Independence celebration, “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Nisith Pramanik interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes of Government of India at the Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports complex today
The programme was organized by the District administration of Imphal East and Imphal West.
The beneficiaries of various schemes namely PMAY, PM Kishan Samman Nidhi, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Poshan Abhiyan, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, JJM, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Gareeb Kalyan Yojana, Ayushman PM Jan Arogya Yojana were present at the occasion.
The beneficiaries expressed contentment for launching such welfare schemes and informed the Minister about the benefits  they have availed from such schemes.
While presenting their grievances in connection with the implementation of the schemes owing to shortage of funds and materials, the beneficiaries appealed to the Union Minister to look into their demands and take initiative for the effective functioning of the developmental schemes.
Addressing the gathering, Nisith Pramanik congratulated the people for the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-the 75 years of Indian Independence.
The Minister also expressed joy for being present in Manipur which has produced eminent sportspersons like Mirabai Chanu, who has brought laurels for the country.
He maintained that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, various development initiatives have been taken up in the entire North East region.
The Minister also enumerated the benefits of welfare schemes taken up by the Centre which has benefited a major section of the population in the State
He further assured that he will discuss with each and every stakeholder to bring development in the State in every sector including health sector, sports, education sector, road connectivity, etc.
Altogether 125 beneficiaries from Imphal East and Imphal West participated in the interaction programme.
