Search operations

IMPHAL, Jun 11 : A team of Imphal West Commando carried out cordon and search operations in different locations of  Imphal West as a part of their preventive and security measures today.
The cordon and search operation was carried out in the morning at Tera Lukram Leirak by Imphal West Commando led by Inspector P Achouba OC Imphal West Commando under the command of M Amit Additional SP Operation.
During the search operation around 65 houses including rented accommodations were searched and 90 individuals were verified properly including four persons who are out on bail however no one was detained during the search operation.
The same team conducted cordon and search operation at Masajid Road of Paona bazaar, Nambul Mapal, Pratap Gali and Kakhulong area in the evening and during that 135 persons were verified properly and five persons who have failed to produce their proper verification identity proofs were detained and handed over to the City Police Station for proper verification.
