Blood donation camp held

69 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IGP, CRPF, M & N Sector on Friday organised a blood donation camp at HQ 69 Bn CRPF, Mantripukhri, Imphal in co-ordination with the medical team from RIMS.
Khumanthem Diana Devi, Deputy Commissioner Imphal East attended the camp as chief guest along with Victoria, Commandant 2nd MR; Dr Virandha Sharma, medical team from RIMS and media persons, said a release issued by 69 Bn CRPF.
Speaking on the occasion, Bajrang Lal, Commandant 69 BN CRPF  apprised the gathering about the importance of donating blood and encouraged them to contribute their bit for the needy people.
He also appreciated the dignitaries for gracing the occasion and making it a grand success.  
The Commandant further assured that CRPF would continue to render its service to the people of Manipur for their growth, development and prosperity by organising similar programmes in the future.
About 60 personnel of the unit including officers and Jawans donated their blood under the supervision of Bajrang Lal at the camp.
