One tests positive

IMPHAL, Jun 9: Out of 65 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, a resident of Ukhrul was confirmed positive which implied a positivity rate of 1.5 per cent.
In the meantime, two positive persons were discharged from home isolation during the last 24 hours following recovery.
However, the death toll remains unchanged at 2120  as there is no report of Covid related death.  
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,242 (general population 1,32,228 and Central security personnel 5,014).
This figure includes one active from general population and 1,35,121 recovered cases (general population 1,30,114 and Central security personnel 5,007).
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,12,438 (first dose 15,74,879, second dose 12,38,055 and precautionary dose 99,504).
Till Wednesday, 61.90 per cent of the State’s total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.46 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
