Court postpones judgment order

IMPHAL, Jun 10 : The Session Court Imphal West passed an order with a prayer before the High Court of Manipur to extend the  time for pronouncement of judgment order till June 18 on the criminal review petition filed by The Union of India, Ministry of Defense represented by 13 Dogra currently stationed at Head Quarter, 57 Mountain. Division, Leimakhong.
Notably, the Session Court had on June 4 reserved its order till June 10 regarding the criminal review petition filed against the order passed by the CJM Imphal West which raised 10 points of reference to the High Court Manipur to enable the Court take an appropriate decision in the alleged fake encounter cases where prosecution sanction is allegedly denied against defence/paramilitary personnel by the Union of India.
The order mentioned that the High Court of Manipur had directed the present Court to dispose of the present criminal revision case of the Union of India as expeditiously as possible and preferable before June 13.
