All Manipur Agriculture Workers Union appeals

All Manipur Agriculture Workers Union has urged the Agriculture Department for timely distribution of District-wise fertilizer allocation for Pre-Kharif and Kharif-2022 to the farmers of the State.
The Union in a press release emphasized on the need of distribution of fertilizers through dealers and agents in the interest of farmers who constitute around 70 percent of the State's population.
Stressing on the problems faced by the farmers due to fertilizer shortage, the Union expressed belief that such problems have come up due to the faulty distribution system implemented for the gains of some persons with vested interests.
The Union also maintained that the farmers used to get their due share of fertilizers easily when fertilizers were distributed through co-operative societies, dealers, agents which was in place earlier.
Lastly the union appealed to the Government to take up appropriate measures for the welfare of the farmers.
