Manipur bag 8 medals at Yoga Nationals

IMPHAL, May 31 : Manipur team have won 5 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 25th National Yogasana Sports Championship which was held from May 26 to 28 at Kola Union High School, Kolaghat in West Bengal under the aegis of Yoga Physique Federation of India.
The yoga athletes who won silver medals for the State in the said National championship are : Lairenjam Chinglemba Singh (Male-18 to 25 yrs), Rajkumar Koireng Singh (Male- 25 to 35 yrs), Maibam Bijoy Singh (Male-above 50 years), Thokchom Bobo Singh (Mentally retarded Group), Kshetrimayum Sobharani Devi (Female-above 50 yrs).
In the meantime, Thingbaijam Hiyainu (female : upto 8 years), Heikrujam Joybi Devi (female- 35 to 50 years) and Leimapokpam Suniti Devi (female- above 50 years) won Manipur bronze medals.
