JIRIBAM, May 9: Kangabam Sungdar Singh, secretary Friendly Environmental Warriors' (FEW), has extended his appreciation to Jiribam MLA MD Ashab Uddin and his brother for their support in the recently conducted expedition to Mt Koubru.
Addressing a press conference held at the office of FEW in Babupara, Sungdar on behalf of FEW also appreciated AMUCO for making travel and lodging arrangements for the expedition team.
He continued that with the assistance of various individuals and organisations, an expedition team of FEW consisting of 31 male and 19 female members successfully carried out an expedition to Mt Koubru.
"During the trip, the team planted tree saplings and conducted a cleanliness drive at Mt Koubru", he added.
