Blood donation camp conducted

SENAPATI, May 6: District Health Society Senapati and NSS units of Don Bosco College Maram in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, Imphal on Friday organised a blood donation camp at Don Bosco College Maram.
The camp conducted in connection with the Block Health Mela and as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration was supported by State Blood Cell, NHM, Manipur.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the college faculty, students and NSS volunteers wherein 88 units of blood were donated.
During the day-long camp, CMO of District Hospital Senapati, Dr Pfrokehe Pfoze reviewed the conduct of the camp.
Fr (Dr) KO Sebastian, principal of DBC; Dr Jacob Pao, DNO; Dr Helen, DLO; Dr Peter, DIO; R K Elisabeth, DPM; Santa Singh, BBO; Dr Lwana, Dr Anbarasan, Sweta, John Britto and Ethel also took part in the event.
