All Manipur Lamjingba Investors' Association has submitted a written application urging the Commissioner, Arts and Culture, Government of Manipur to suspend any investigation on Sanasam Jacky, Chairman of Lamjingba Finance and the assets of the company for a period of 90 days.
In a statement, All Manipur Lamjingba Investors' Association informed that an MoU had been signed between the association and Lamjingba Finance on April 21. According to this MoU, the assets and loanees database amounting approximately Rs 252 crore were handed over to the association.
However, due to the ongoing investigation on Sanasam Jacky and the company by the State agency and pressure from investors, the association is unable to meet the chairman and have a discussion on the subject of verification of assets.
As a result, All Manipur Lamjingba Investors' Association has urged the relevant authorities to grant a relaxation period of 90 days with effect from May 5 and suspend any investigative proceedings during this time so that the association may carry out the necessary inquiry and verification process.
