Spot painting competition held

IMPHAL, May 29: A spot painting competition was organised today at Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak Multipurpose Community Hall  as a part of the ongoing environmental campaign of Royal Riders Manipur christened 'Mahousa Ima Ningshing Tha'.
The programme was graced by MLA of Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency, Kh Joykisan as the chief guest.
As a part of the programme, he planted saplings at the surrounding areas of the multipurpose hall and also declared the results of the painting competition.
The month long campaign of Royal Riders Manipur which kicked off on May 6 is being observed with special emphasis to conserve and preserve the degrading natural environment and will conclude on June 5.
