Village authority appeals

KAMJONG, May 25
Old Kangkum Village Authority has appealed to the authorities concerned for reconstruction of Kangkum Primary School in the interest of students and the public.
According to a joint statement issued by AS Joyson, Headmaster,  Kangkum Primary School  and Honpam Jajo, Secretary, Kangkhum Village, the school building had been in a very dilapidated condition when unfavourable weather conditions brought the entire school building down on May 23.
As a result the students of  Kangkum Primary School are in a very difficult situation as regular classes are no longer an option with no school building to conduct classes in, the statement added. Old Kangkhum Village Authority has thus made an urgent appeal for the authorities concerned to intervene in the matter.
