Condemnations continue

IMPHAL, May 24
All India Tanzeem-e-Insaaf (AITI), Manipur State Council and Delhi Association of Manipur Muslim Students (DAMMS), New Delhi have strongly condemned the alleged heinous killing of Koirimayum Abdullah (23) whose body was recovered on May 22.
In a statement, DAMMS has appealed for immediate legal action against the individuals involved in this inhumane act. DAMMS also urgedfor the support of  the public and CSOs to bring about justice to the victim.
DAMMS further rued the lack of action from Lilong and Thoubal PS when complaints were first made about Md Abdullah going missing.
The statement also urged the State Government to fulfil the demands put forward by the JAC formed in this regard.
AITI has also demanded appropriate punishment for the perpetrators involved in the alleged killing of Md Abdullah. Both DAMMS and AITI have pledged their support to the JAC in any future agitation they launch.
