No new case

IMPHAL, May 23: Even though 120 samples were subjected to Covid-19 test during the last 24 hours, not a single positive case was detected.
The State is currently free of any active case although the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,230 (general population 1,32,216 and Central security personnel 5,014).
This figure includes 1,35,110 recovered cases (general population 1,30,103 and Central security personnel 5,007).
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,83,653 (first dose 15,66,990, second dose 12,22,990 and precautionary dose 93,673).
Till Sunday, 61.83 per cent of the State’s total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 51.94 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
