Essential items distributed

BISHNUPUR, May 22 : SDO Nambol distributed essential items through Development & Protection United Voluntary Organisation (DPUVO), Nambol and Khori Leikai Youth Club to families affected by the recent flood today.
The items were distributed to 11 families at relief camps set up at Nambol Lairen High School and Nambol Higher Secondary School.
The eleven families received 10 kg rice, 2 kg lentils, 1 kg salt, 1 candle packet and a half litre bottle of mustard oil each. The event was attended by S Sanajaoba, vice president, Khori Leikai Youth Association, T Shantikumar, social worker and members of DPUVO and Khori Leikai Youth Association.
