8 State athletes in Indian Bodybuilding team

IMPHAL, May 22 : As many as 8 players from Manipur have been shortlisted in the Indian Bodybuilding team for the 54th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship and the 13th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2022.
The trial selection for the Indian team was conducted by the Indian Body Builders Federation in Himachal Pradesh today.

The athletes who were selected for Indian team trial to be held in Himachal Pradesh from May 21 to 22 are Mangaal Arambam  (Men's open Sports Physique) Khumanthem Sushilkumar (-75 kg junior bodybuilding), Chingkheinangba Athokpam (+75 kg junior bodybuilding), Dinesh Leitanthem (75 kg Senior bodybuilding), Zenika Naorem (Junior Women's Model Physique), Solimla Jajo (Ladies Women Model Physique), Solal Jajo of Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul (Ladies Women Model Physique) and Chingangbam Karishma Chanu (-55 kg Women bodybuilding).
