Aid extended

IMPHAL, May 22: Social media (Facebook) group 'Hingminnasi Eikhoi' has extended financial aid to  singer Suren Yumnam who is currently undergoing treatment for an illness at RIMS Hospital.
The team from Hingminnasi Eikhoi visited RIMS Hospital today and handed over a sum of Rs 40,000 to provide some relief in the singer's medical expenses.
The sum was donated by members of the social media group and other generous souls and handed over to the family of Suren Yumnam under the supervision of Dr A Santa, executive member of hingminnasi Eikhoi and Director, RIMS. Purni Gurumayum, general secretary and L Bijendra, treasurer were also part of the visiting team.
