Royal Riders Manipur organises eco-trekking

IMPHAL, May 22: Royal Riders Manipur organised a eco-trekking for students studying in Class 3 to 7 at Langol Punshi Lok today.
The eco-trekking was organised as a part of Royal Riders Manipur's initiative of '12th Mahousa Ema Ningshing Tha' observed in connection with World Environment Day.
A total of fifty students took part in today's eco-trekking.
MLA of Uripok Assembly Constituency, Khwairakpam Raghumani while speaking at the flagging off ceremony of eco-trekking said that organising an eco-trekking programme at Langol Punshi Lok is appropriate to spread awareness about protecting the natural environment among the young students.
He also appealed to organise such programmes at district level too.
The eco-trekking was carried out under the World Environment Day-2022 theme “Only One Earth".
Wildlife and Habitat Protection Society founder, Moirangthem Krishnakanta alias Loya and Royal Riders Manipur president, RK Tombisana also took part in the programme.
