Poetry book released

KAKCHING, May 19 : A poetry book titled "Kokngamdraba Mami" penned by Naorem (O) Tababi Devi was released today at the auditorium hall of Library and Information Centre, Kakching. The book release ceremony was organised by Sahitya Seva Samiti, Kakching.
Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh, convenor, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi; Dr Nongmaithem Pramodhini Devi, president Macha Chanu and Kshetri Bir, Sahitya Akademi Awardee and president of Sahitya Seva Samiti, Kakching attended as the chief guest, guest of honour and president of the function respectively.
As the chief guest, Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh had the honour of releasing the poetry book while P Nimai Singh, retd ZEO, advisor, Writer's Association Kakching introduced the book to the gathering.
