UNC condoles

SENAPATI, May 15 The United Naga Council (UNC) has deeply condoled the demise of AK Lungalang, Member of Collective Leadership of the NSCN (IM) on May 13 evening in Dimapur.
According to the UNC, AK Lungalang was a veteran Naga National leader, who served the Naga Nation till his last breath. "He held various cabinet posts and actively participated in the peace talks under the leadership of Late Isak Chishi Swu and Th Muivah, as they were comrades in arms for the Naga Nation building," the UNC said.
The Naga body said that AK Lungalang's death at this critical juncture is unexpected and added that the Naga people will miss him in the rest of "our journey" and extended it condolences to the family of the late man.
