MAKA names State team for KIO National Karate C'ship

IMPHAL, May 15
The Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA) has announced the names of the karatekas shortlisted to represent Manipur in the KIO National Karate Championships for Cadet, Junior and Under-21 due to be held at Bhalewadi Stadium Pune from May 17 to 19.
The karatekas as named in a list issued by MAKA are :
Cadet (14-15 years): Naorem Boby (-45 kg male kumite), Ng Pompom (-52 kg male kumite), Santosh (-57 kg male kumite), Ph Awesh Alam (-70 kg male kumite), Kh Bony Devi (-54 kg female kumite) and Kh Madhusumita Devi (+54 kg female kumite).
Junior (16-17 years) : Anuwar Ali (Male Kata; -68 kg kumite), L Lucky singh (-50 kg male kumite), S Ronaldo Singh (-61 kg male kumite), Keinoumayum Irfan (-61 kg male kumite), Keinoumayum Suiab (-63 kg male kumite), T Pradip (-76 kg male kumite), Ankit Prasad (+76 kg male kumite), MK Rukeiya (-48 kg female kumite), Kh Tombi (-53 kg female kumite) and Kh Diana Devi (+59 kg female kumite).
U-21 : L Premjit (male kata; -67 kg kumite), Ph Nelson (-50 kg male kumite), Th Lenin Singh (-55 kg male kumite), M Serly (-60 kg male kumite), H Jemson Singh (-75 kg male kumite) and Kh Roshni Chanu (-55 kg female kumite).
