Gold impounded

MOREH, May 11 : Teng-noupal Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (S) recovered three gold chains without proper receipts and worth about Rs 24.9 lakh and Rs 26,790 in cash at Khudengthabi, Tengnoupal district yesterday.
The seized gold chains along with the apprehended individuals were handed over to Customs Representative, Moreh for further investigation.
