MGSF urges

IMPHAL, May 11 : Manipur Government Services' Federation (MGSF) has submitted a letter addressed to the Chief Minister appealing for the fulfilment of a list of their demands in view of the observation of National Demands Day on May 27 and 28.
As per  a statement, MGSF's list of demands include scrapping of NPS (National Pension Scheme) and implementation of Defined Pension Scheme (Old Pension Scheme), filling up of all vacancies in Government departments through statutory recruitment bodies, filling up of promotional posts, implementation of 7th Pay in respect of school teachers and grant-in-aid bodies, control of price rise, ensuring of minimum wage for all, scrapping of the New Education Policy and stopping of all back door appointments among others.
It is worth mentioning that a total of 15 demands were listed in MGSF's letter to the CM.
