MLA lauds JCI

IMPHAL, Apr 28 : A second installation ceremony of Junior Chamber International (JCI), Imphal Iconics was held today at Hotel Sangai Continental at MG Avenue.
The function was graced by Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan,  JCI, Imphal Iconics outgoing president Tanisha Jain, new president Nidhi Jain and TAKDO, Women Forum president S Bilashini as presidium members.
At the event, Kh Joykisan underlined the popular line "Service to mankind is service to God" and lauded  JCI, Imphal Iconics for their service.
Saying that JCI, Imphal Iconics which was founded in 2020 has been rendering service to mankind at different capacity since then, the MLA maintained that the initiative taken up by  the group during the Covid pandemic was immense and deserves utmost appreciation.
JCI, Imphal Iconics distributed face masks, placed hand sanitizers at strategic locations and arranged meals for different Covid Care Centres during the height of the pandemic, Joykisan said and exuded confidence that the group will continue to serve mankind with innovative ideas.
The MLA also assured that he will provide all possible assistance to the group.
At the function, Tanisha Jain submitted  a report of activities taken up during her tenure.
