A Sharda hails

IMPHAL, Apr 1 : President of BJP Manipur Pradesh A Sharda Devi has categorically stated that the withdrawal of Armed Force Special Act from six districts of Manipur is the first major achievement of the BJP Government headed by Chief Minister N Biren Singh and the same indicates that the Government understands the sentiment of the people.
Speaking to media persons at Nityaipat Chuthek today, A Sharda continued that the State Government which was formed on March 21 has started delivering the aspiration of the people in a very short period and will continue to do so.
She also said that the Government has published a booklet which incorporates its action plan for the first 100 days.
Saying that the BJP received many questions for not mentioning removal of AFSPA in its election manifesto, the party State unit chief responded that the BJP is truthful to its message of "Meeyamgi Khollao Eikhoigi Thoudang."
The removal of disturbed areas tag from areas under 15 police stations in six districts of Manipur is a big achievement of the BJP and it marks the beginning of translating its commitment into action, A Sharda maintained.
Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister N Biren Singh and other party leaders for delivering the long cherished demand of the people, Sharda maintained that the BJP will always stand for peace and development and go along with the people.
A Sharda stated that the BJP will extend all possible assistance to effectively implement the 100 day action plan of the Government.
