Boy drowns

NONEY, Apr 17 : In a tragic incident, an 11 year old boy drowned at Khoupum Dam today at around 2 pm.
The boy has been identified as Pouchuimei Riamei, s/o Isaac Riamei.
Reportedly, the boy drowned while swimming with his friends at the Dam.
He was a student of English Boarding School Khoupum.
A search is underway but the body has not been retrieved till the time of filing this report.
Local MLA Dinganglung Gangmei who is also a Chairman of HAC and Minister Awangbou Newmai have reportedly sent a team of SDRF to trace the missing body.
