Asss condole demise of Surangini Soram

IMPHAL, Apr 17 : The Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association (MHRPA), Manipur Equestrian Association and Manipur Pony Society expressed deepest condolence over the demise of former life member Surangini Soram on April 11.
The associations convened a joint condolence meeting in honour of the late Surangini Soram today at Manipuri Pony Breeding Farm, Lamphelpat with H Deleep Singh, hony president of MHRPA in the chair, said MHRPA in a statement.
The organisations recalled the valuable and irreplaceable contributions of the late former member towards the growth and development of the associations and the revival of the game of Polo during her lifetime, it said.
She also greatly encouraged formation of women's polo teams in Manipur, the associations recalled while conveying heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
