AMFA announces women's team for NER Sports Week

IMPHAL, Apr 17 : The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has announced names of players who have been shortlisted to represent Manipur in the North East Regional Sports Week to be hosted in Imphal in connection with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration by the State Youth Affairs and Sports Department.
The players who have made it to the final squad, as per an AMFA memorandum, are : Goalkeepers : N Monika (ESU), M Monalisha (KRYPHSA) and Kh Jubina (YWC-L);
Defenders : A Romi (MPSC), W Kanchan (MPSC), Sahina (ESU), Y Sarita (YWC-L), M Joshima (WFA), Linda (ESU) and O Sanathoi (MPSC);
Mid-fielders : M Mandakini (ESU), Y Luxmi Devi (YWC-L), Ksh Naocha (MPSC), Th Keinakumari (MPSC), Sanathoi (MPSC) and M Jina (YWC-L);
Forwards : S Rinaroy (YWC-L), Sultana (ESU), O Babita (ICSA) and P Mira (WFA).
On the other hand, H Thoi , L Ronibala and S Roshini were respectively named as manager, coach and official of the State team.
Further, AMFA instructed the players to report to its asst general secretary M Nilo Singh, on April 18 at 8 am at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong along with two passport size photographs, full kits and residential apparatus.
The players will accommodate at Hostel No 2 of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex after coaching, the memorandum read.
In a separate memorandum, general secretary of AMFA, L Jyotirmoy Roy informed all concerned that M Nilo, assistant general secretary of AMFA will look after the office of general secretary from April 18 to 21.
