Court reserves

IMPHAL, Apr 16 : Session Judge, Imphal West has reserved charge order against alleged murder accused Gurumayum Birchandra Sharma alias Molecule till April 29.
The accused G Birchandra Sharma 72 s/o (L) Ibopishak of Chingamakha Ngakhraba Leirak who is presently lodged in Manipur Central Jail Sajiwa in connection with the alleged shooting of his own nephew on November 21, 2020 was produced before the Session Court, Imphal West Cheirap Court complex for charge hearing today.
The Court heard Special PP and defence counsel at length in connection with the charges levelled against the murder accused.
After hearing both sides, the Court reserved announcement of charge order till April 29.
The Court has also fixed April 29 for hearing of the bail application filed by the accused on health grounds. It may be noted that the same Court had called for a health status report of the accused from SP Manipur Central Jail Sajiwa on March 16.
