Good Friday observed

IMPHAL, Apr 15 : Manipur Baptist Convention Centre Church, Imphal organised Good Friday worship service today at the Church located at Chingmeirong to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The worship service was led by L Bimolchandra and Zuankamang Daimai, Pastor of MBC Centre Church as the preacher while Harvest Team presented worship songs.
It may be noted that M Talitha conducted 'responsive reading' while Peace and Nancy presented preparatory praise worship songs and members of MBC Centre Church offered prayers and worship songs to Jesus Christ.
Speaking on the occasion, Zuankamang Daimai said that MBC Centre Church has joined the rest of the world in observing Good Friday to commemorate the day when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross at Calvary. He stated that Jesus Christ sacrificed his life on behalf of mankind and their sins.
Further, on the occasion of Good Friday, he expressed hope for an end to the pandemic, an end to religion and race based discrimination and prayed for peace and harmony. He also urged people to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ to bring about a peaceful and harmonious society.
