KCP expresses gratitude
IMPHAL, Apr 13
The Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has expressed gratitude to the people for their never-ending support and has appealed the masses to remain vigilant against the evil designs of the enemy.
This was said in a press communique issued by KCP signed by its Politburo Standing Committee chairman Ibungo Ngangom, on the occasion of the 42nd foundation day of KCP.
The press communique added that the Kangleipak Communist Party was established 42 years ago with a two-fold idea of liberating Kangleipak from the alleged colonial yoke of India and establishing a communist Nation via the path of scientific socialism.
“In these 42 years of existence, we as an armed liberation organization have encountered numerous challenges, most of which have, however, been surmounted with the blessings of the masses and the courage, conviction and sacrifice of our comrades,” Ibungo Ngangom claimed in the statement.
National sovereignty, remains the Party’s raison d’etre, claimed the outfit and added that it is also on the lookout for hostile designs, which are usually packaged as development projects, KCP alleged.
KCP alleged that the introduction of Hindutva ideology and its aggressive propagation in Kangleipak and other parts of the region, for that matter, can also be seen in that light. The extension of rail connectivity up to the central valley of Kangleipak is also another such example. The alleged colonial Government of India and its local political puppets have systematically highlighted only the economic advantages that this rail connectivity project will bring to the region, said the outfit and added that its adverse socio-economic implications for the indigenous people of Kangleipak will be swept under the carpet.
