Heads for B'desh

THOUBAL, Apr 12 : A team of Thoubal District Working Journalists' Union (TDWJU) has left Imphal for Bangladesh today to meet the Manipuri diaspora settled in Bangladesh.
This trip was undertaken as part of TDWJU's annual report on Manipuri diaspora who have settled outside the State and the country.
The team was flagged off from Thoubal DC Office Complex by  Ahanthem Subhash, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal.
The team consisted of journalists from ISCOM, DDK, AIR, Impact TV, ISTV, TOM TV, Elite TV, Sanaleibak, Poknapham and Ichel Express.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahanthem Subhash commended the team for their effort to reconnect with the Manipuris of Bangladesh while wishing them success. He also sent his best wishes to the Manipuris of Bangladesh on behalf of Thoubal District Administration.
