Vehicle recovered

SENAPATI, Apr 12 : For the second time, Senapati police successfully recovered a stolen Bolero which went missing from Assam.
 On April 10, information was received that a Bolero pick up was stolen from Beharbari, Assam under Basistha police station and a case had been registered at Basistha PS, Kamrup District, Assam.
A team from Maram police station led by SI C Paisho under the supervision of Ng Jeremiah Siipunii OC/Maram PS and M L Kaisungbou MPS, Addl SP (NH2)/SPT conducted a search operation in and around Maram P/S jurisdiction based on reliable information.
On extensive search and verification, the said vehicle was found abandoned near a GREF camp along Maram-Peren Road located at Kavanam village on the same day at around 7:20 pm without any occupants.
The front registration number plate was found missing but engine number and registration number on the left body of the vehicle tallied with the information of the stolen Bolero. The police team has launched a search for any suspect involved in the crime.
The recovered vehicle has been handed to SI Ramjan Roy of Assam Police to be returned to the vehicle owner.  
In an earlier case, a Tata Mobile was also recovered by the Senapati police and handed over to the owner.
