RIMS welcomes

IMPHAL, Apr 11 : Col (Dr) Rajesh W Adhau, Commanding Officer, 422 Field Hospital, Delhi Kargil Frontline & COVID-19 Frontline Warrior; Rahul Patil, Vice Chairman, Bay of Bengal Initiative on Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) and his team were warmly welcomed by Prof A Santa Singh, Director, RIMS today.
A simple function was held at the conference hall of Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal. During the interaction program, Prof A Santa Singh briefed the visiting team about the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal and the role played by it in catering healthcare and medical education services since 1972. The institute has been contributing by producing so many doctors including specialists and super specialists, said a statement issued by RIMS.
Col Rajesh W Adhau shared the experience he and his team faced during the difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic. It was quite a challenging period and learned many lessons, he added.
Senior faculty members and staff of the institute were also present at the programme.
