Ex-gratia payment

IMPHAL, Mar 8 (DIPR) : Director of Relief & Disaster Management, Manipur, KG Daigong has notified that an ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 will be provided to the next of kin of COVID-19 victims, provided that the Health Department/ District Disaster Management Authority Committee concerned certifies the cause of death as being due to Covid.
The notification added that the families concerned should submit their claims through the application form/claim which can be collected from the concerned Deputy Commissioner's Office, DDMA or the concerned SDOs. Aside from this, the form can also be downloaded/submitted through http://crm.mn.gov.in.
In case of any grievances in connection with the ex-gratia payment, certification of death etc, the notification instructed the concerned families to contact the District Level Committee/Redressal Grievances Committee of the respective district.
It may be noted that the ex-gratia will be disbursed by the District Disaster Management Authority/District Administration.
