KOHIMA, MAR 29: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is "satisfactorily" implemented in Nagaland. This was stated by Nagaland chief secretary J Alam during a review meeting of the High Power Committee, Nagaland Forest Management Project Society (NFMPS-JICA) in Kohima today.
The Nagaland Chief Secretary stated that Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a very important project for the state of Nagaland. The project is being implemented "satisfactorily" in the state, he stated.
Stating that the main objective of the project was to improve forest ecosystem and support income generation by rehabilitation of jhum areas and provision of livelihood support, Alam encouraged the team to have a portal where all collected data can be uploaded so that they analyzed without delay.
