World TB Day observed

THOUBAL, Mar 27: As organised across the globe, District TB Centre, Thoubal on Saturday observed World TB Day with the theme, "Invest to end TB. Save live" at Heirok Higher Secondary school in Thoubal district.
It was attended by Deputy Commissioner Thoubal, Ahanthem Subhash; Chief Medical Officer Thoubal, Y Nokul; Heirok Part 3 GP pradhan, Ningthoujam Tangba; Th Nimai Singh, principal Heirok Higher Secondary school and District Nodal Officer,TB Centre Thoubal, Dr T Pramodini Devi as presidium members.
At the event, the dignitaries highlighted that TB can be treated easily with early diagnosis and urged the people to provide their cooperation in eradicating the disease.
