MESOCON 2022 organised

IMPHAL, Mar 26: The 12th Annual Conference of Medical Society, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), MESOCON 2022 was held today at the Jubilee Hall of RIMS.
The MESOCON 2022 is held under the theme 'Digital Healthcare'
The annual conference was graced by RIMS Director, Professor Ahanthem Santa as the chief guest, Dean of Academics, RIMS, Professor Brojen Akoijam as guest of honour and Medical Superintendent, Professor Nepram Sanjib as the president.
Addressing the gathering, Professor A Santa emphasized on the effectiveness and benefits of digital healthcare which has become an important aspect of medical science.
He spoke about telemedicine which served as a boon during the Covid times providing a platform for interaction among the patients and doctors to solve numerous health problems.
Digital healthcare will also aid in future researches and help in solving many ailments, he added.
In today's conference, many professors spoke in length about medical ethics, pre and post Covid medical management, mental health care and digital platform, digital surgery, digital dentistry etc.
