Bandh extended

IMPHAL, Mar 23 : The Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) has decided to extend the ongoing bandh  within Sou-thern Angami jurisdiction to an indefinite bandh with effect from midnight today.
A press release issued by SAPO said that the decision was taken as the Government of Manipur has failed to withdraw its armed personnel and permanent structure from the Kezoltsa area within the stipulated period.
Para military forces on duty, ambulance services, media, executives of Tenyimi Public Organisation, its units and board of arbitrators will be exempted from the purview of the bandh  on production of valid documents, it added.
