Trial run

JIRIBAM, Mar 14 : The North East Frontier Railway conducted a trial run of a rail engine from Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station in Oinamlong to Khongsang Railway Station today.
The NFR engine WDG4G-49285 was rolled out from Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station with NFR Chief Engineer Sandep Sharma, Deputy Chief Engineer Rampal Singh and Railway Trackline officials. The trial run also passed through Thingou Railway Station, wherein the locals performed traditional dance to welcome the train before it pushed off towards Khongshang. Speaking to media Sandep Sharma said NFR was conducting the trial run only between the two stations but passenger service will take time as stations and Rail Track Exchange are yet to be completed.
