Govt bans

IMPHAL, Feb 8 : The State Government has banned consumption of paan masala, gutkha and other tobacco products with spitting in public places with immediate effect.
A notification issued by Health Director K Rajo said that violation of  the restriction will be prosecuted under relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, the Epidemic Disease Act, Manipur Epidemic Diseases COVID-19 Regulations 2020, Indian Penal Code 1860 and CrPc.
