Virus claims BK Moirangcha

IMPHAL, Feb 6 : Convenor of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) BK Moirangcha (Oja Bijoy) died of COVID-19 this morning at JNIMS.
He was a resident of Kakching Keirak Leikai and left behind one son.
Members of of different organisations such as All Manipur Ethnical Social Cultural Organisation (AMESCO), JCILPS, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), Committee on Human Rights (COHR), Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur (PLMPAM), All Manipur Womens' Voluntary Association  (AMAWOVA), International Peace and Social Advancement  (IPSA), Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF), Meira Paibi Welfare Association of Kangleipak (MEPWAK) and others paid their tributes to the mortal remains of BK Moirangcha at Sega Road Konjeng Hajari Leikai.
The deceased was also a former  president of AMESCO.
In separate statements, AMUCO, AMESCO, MSF, COHR, PLMPAM, AMAWOVA, MEPWAK, Peoples' Task Force For COVID-19 (PTFC-19), United Meitei Pangal (Muslim) Organisation and Leihou Khunai Kanba Luptin (LKKL) condoled the demise of BK Moirangcha and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
They also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
