Poppy plantation destroyed

IMPHAL, Feb 4 : A combined team of Kangpokpi police, Narcotic and Affairs of Border, Forest Department and Jwalamukhi Battalion of Assam Rifles  destroyed 24 acres of poppy plantation at Denglen village under Saikul police station yesterday.
According to sources, the approximate value of the poppy plantation destroyed  was around Rs 3.6 crore in the international market.
