One more succumbs

IMPHAL, Feb 27 : One more youth succumbed to his injuries early today at Imphal in connection with the accidental explosion which occurred last night at Gang-pimual-Mualkoi, Chura- chandpur, taking the death toll to 3. The latest victim has been identified as Liansuanlal, (18), s/o CT John of New Lamka. He had been taken to a hospital in Imphal for treatment but succumbed to his injuries around 1.30 am today.
It may be noted that locals had picked up a 2-inch mortar shell from the firing range of Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF which exploded.
