Cong expels

IMPHAL, Feb 27 : Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has expelled Salam Joy Singh, former MLA and INC candidate of Wangoi AC from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.
A notification from T Mangibabu Singh, working president, MPCC stated that the former MLA has been expelled in view of multiple reports from Congress workers and leaders from 22-Wangoi AC against Salam Joy.
T Mangibabu Singh maintained that there were viral videos and other evidence against Salam Joy Singh for breaching 'Disciplinary Rules' of the Constitution of Indian National Congress.
 The working president of MPCC asserted that Salam Joy had indulged in anti-party activities and as such led to his expulsion from the party.
