Huidrom Pushparani Devi suspended

IMPHAL, Feb 26
Huidrom Pushparani Devi, renowned singer of the State who is also employed as a Music Instructor at the Government Ideal Blind School, Takyel, Social Welfare Department has been placed under suspension with immediate effect for taking part in political campaign/meeting organized by a political party in respect of the visit of the Prime Minister on February 22, 2022.
A suspension order has been issued by the Director of Social Welfare, Ngangom Uttam Singh today. The order further mentioned that during the period of suspension, the Headquarter of Huidrom Pushparani Devi shall be at Imphal and she shall not leave the Headquarter without obtaining prior permission of the competent authority.
