Paihu Baptist Church celebrates Platinum Jubilee

CHANDEL, Feb 19: As part of the ongoing, 4th Triennial Fellowship Meet 2022 of Chothe Baptist Churches Association, Platinum Jubilee celebration of Purum Tampak (Phaihu) Baptist Church was organised today at Purum Tampak village in Chandel district.
The Jubilee celebration began with the hoisting of flag by Church elder, Herajao Chothe and unveiling of monument by ChBCA executive secretary, Reverend Dr Hranum Khiang.
During the event, a souvenir was also released and many prominent individuals were felicitated.
MBC general secretary, Reverend K Losii delivered a Gospel message on "Renewal of hope for eternity."
Souvenir Committee co-convenor, Th Hopeson Chothe also spoke on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that The Triennial Fellowship Meet was inaugurated yesterday by Purum Tampak Baptist Church, licentiate pastor Kh Tomba with a hall dedication.
It was attended by CBCNEI Mission secretary, Reverend Boipu Serto; MBC Peace and Development director, Reverend T Karang; and Chumbang Baptist Church pastor, Reverend John Thao as preachers.
